About this piece
This artwork was inspired by my daily work, schedules, and the burdens I carry. It reflects how life can press you down—when expectations run wild or low, and there’s not enough fuel in your tank to keep going. In those moments, you cling to the flow of contacts—people with similar interests—finding comfort in shared struggles. Through this piece, I draw out my moods and thoughts, exploring world norms and tribulations. Life takes you through many moods; it can be pressing, but it also connects us in unexpected ways.___Russell MihinduKula
Motivation
I wanted to express a new form of creativity, inspired by the historical colors I found and experienced in Venice and Florence, Italy. The rich palettes and timeless beauty of these cities awakened a desire to blend tradition with my own artistic vision, bringing the spirit of Italian art into my work.___Russell MihinduKula
Story behind the artwork
My goal is to invite anyone who views this art—anyone who loves seeing or experiencing art—into a new dimension, a new realm of thought. By using two or three distinct colors and weaving in modern themes and unique artifacts, I want to spark fresh thinking and curiosity. I hope viewers will engage with the colors and ideas in ways they haven’t seen before, exploring perspectives and emotions that are new, bold, and different from anything I’ve encountered in other artists’ work.___Russell MihinduKula
