Three Wound Together is a visual exploration of connection beyond the limits of time, place, and ordinary communication. #contact for #commission Within this single frame exist three distinct beings, each emerging from a different dimension of experience. They occupy separate realms, different atmospheres, and different states of existence, yet they remain connected through an unseen thread. To me, this connection represents telepathy, intuition, and the invisible ways in which people communicate beyond words. The faces are intertwined, neither fully separate nor fully united. Their stories overlap, their identities merge, and their thoughts travel across boundaries that would normally divide them. Each character carries its own history, perspective, and emotional journey, while still contributing to a larger collective narrative.___By Russell Mihindukula
Motivation
The inspiration for this work comes from years of study and reflection on mythology, medieval symbolism, spirituality, and historical traditions. These influences have shaped my understanding of the human experience and the timeless search for #contact for #commeaning, belonging, and connection. The surrounding leaves symbolize growth, transformation, and the living pathways that link all things together. They weave through the figures much like thoughts, memories, and energies weave through our lives, connecting people across distances both physical and spiritual.__By Russell Mihindukula
Story behind the artwork
My hope is that viewers will spend time with these characters, discovering their own interpretations within the faces and forms. I invite people to consider the stories that might exist between them, the conversations that have never been #contact for #com spoken aloud, and the unseen connections that may exist between all of us. This piece is intended not only to be viewed, but to be contemplated. Long after stepping away, I hope the questions it raises continue to accompany the viewer throughout their day.
